Objective: It is supported that SH3MD2, or POSH (Plenty of SH3 domains) receptors act as an important mediator of death receptor and a promising novel cancer therapeutic strategy.However, its role in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) has not been reported.The aim of this study is to investigate the SH3MD2 expression and analysis its association with clinicolpathological features and recurrence of papillary thyroid carcinoma by immunochemical method.Method: PTC samples from 219 cases were examined for SH3MD2 and Ki-67 expression by immunohistochemistry.
