  An uncontrolled urbanization representing by rapid increase of impervious surfaces causes a fragmentation of landscape and ecosystems and a consequent loss of natural capital and related ecosystem services,by altering the metabolic functions of urban area.In study,the impact of impervious surfaces on urban landscape metabolism of Beijing was analyzed by indicators of ecosystem services about water recycling and temperature regulation.
