A series of novel quadruple-, quintuple-, and sexatuple-decker tetrapyrrole metal complexes were synthesized and their sandwich-type molecular structures clearly revealed by X-ray single crystal analysis and 1H NMR spectroscopy.These results will be helpful for the design and synthesis of analogues with even more tetrapyrrole layers[1-7].
