Objective To establish a murine model of genital tract of serotype 1 and 8 of Ureaplasma urealyticum and evaluate differences in pathogenicity of these two serotypes.Methods A total of 48 female BALB/c mice were randomly and equally divided into 4 groups and were inoculated with the same concentration of U.urealyticum 1 and 8 or sterile liquid medium.The presence of infection was determined by being cultured in solid and liquid culture media.
