掺 Yb 光纤激光器输出功率的继续增长会受到非线性效应、光学损伤和热损伤等因素的限制。文中报道了实现千瓦级功率输出的包层泵浦掺 Yb 光纤激光器。该激光器成功解决了以上限制因素,采用双端泵浦技术和大模面积双包层掺 Yb 光纤,在1.08μm附近获得了高功率连续激光输出,输出功率达1.2 kW,光-光斜效率78.6%,达到目前国内最高水平。
