Objective: Compounds of Ophiopogon japonicas have been reported to have medicinal effects including anti-inflammatory and anticancer effects.In this study,we identified methylophiogonanone B(MDB)as a microtubule destabilizing agent and explored its antitumor effects.Methods: MTT assay and LDH assay were performed to evaluate the selectivity and cytotoxicity of MDB.Colony formation assay was performed to confirm the anti-proliferation ability of MDB,while wound-healing assay was carried out to examine its effects on migration.
