W offers excellent compatibility with liquid metals,high thermal conductivity,low sputtering yield,high hardness/strength are thus appealing for many important high temperature applications such as plasma-facing materials(PFMs).However,the shortcoming of low-temperature embrittlement,recrystallization embrittlement and radiation embrittlement significantly limit the application of the bulk W.Focusing on above issues,we fabricated bulk W-Ta/Zr-C alloys with high comprehensive performance by tuning grain/phase boundary interface.
