A series of new tailored multicomponent donor-acceptor-donor-acceptor(D-A1-D-A2)copolymers were synthesized by Stille coupling polymerization,which comprise electron-rich indacenodithiophene(IDT)units in conjugation with electron-deficient 2,1,3-benzooxadiazole(BO),diketopyrrolopyrrole(DPP)and isoindigo(IID)moieties,named IDT-IID,IDT-BO-IID and IDT-DPP-IID,respectively.In order to explore the potential of the random copolymers for high photovoltage in solar cells,the effect of the thermal,optical,electronic,and photovoltaic properties of the resulting copolymers were systematically investigated and discussed.
