With the approaching end of 2012, there is a rush to register CDM projects in order to enable eligibility of emission reductions from said projects to quality for the EU ETS market.One of the best ways to accomplish this is by the establishment of a Programme of Activities (PoA) to include similar projects for up to 28 years.The CDM Executive Board (EB) operationalized the concept of the PoA at its 32nd and 33rd meetings in June 2007 Till current date (August 2012), only 27 PoAs have been registered;that is only an average of 5 PoA being successfully registered each year.There is a need to streamline the PoA registration process and the subsequent inclusion of CPAs.We are here to illustrate how our organization managed to register a Small-scale PoA in one year and successfully include five CPAs within four months.
