“孝”义考原——兼论先秦儒家“孝”的伦理观

“孝”观念是人类社会发展到一定文明阶段的产物,但它产生、形成的语义基础却是本于高级动物的“动物依存”关系。在人类社会中,它所体现的最突出的社会特征是人际秩序,因此,它又是人类社会延续过程中非常重要的伦理定律。我们从《尚书.虞书》的相关记载中看到,原始社会晚期华夏人类已经把以“孝”为中心的人际伦序作了规定性的界说——“孝”不仅不是孤立地存在,相反,它因果性地关涉着几个必要的伦理概念,这些相为关涉的伦理概念也不是仅仅限于“孝”的因果链,而是社会关系的总和。 The concept of “filial piety” is the product of the development of human society to a certain stage of civilization. However, the semantic basis for its generation and formation is based on the “animal dependence” relationship of advanced animals. In human society, the most prominent social feature it embodies is the interpersonal order. Therefore, it is also a very important ethical law in the continuation of human society. From the records of Shang Shu Yu Shu, we see that the late Huaxia humans in late primitive society have defined the interpersonal sequence centered on “filial piety ” - not only “not filial” On the contrary, it is causally related to several necessary ethical concepts, and the ethical concepts involved in these phases are not limited to the causal chain of “filial piety” but to the sum of social relations.
