Recently,gold-catalyzed cycloisomerization of enynes has drawn much attention.In 2010,Wang reported a novel gold-catalyzed cycloisomerization of enynes containing both cyclopropene and triple-bond moieties,affording benzene derivatives rapidly in high yields at room temperature (Scheme 1).
