Surgical treatment of Early Breast Cancer consists of Breast and Axillary Surgery.Sentinel Node (SN) Excison followed by Axillary Clearance if SN contains malignancy is standard of Care.The trend in surgical treatment has been ever less procedures with similar outcome of local recurrence and overall survival.SN excision requires isotope and dye injections to safely find the node, which makes the procedure time consuming in busy operating rooms.
