Concerns over the emission of volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds (VOCs and SVOCs) from materials used indoors and in-vehicle, have been increasing dramatically over the past years due to their potential impact on human health and comfort.The quantitative determination of the rate of emission of these compounds into the indoor environment from materials is an area of great interest.
