[Objectives]To establish the rat model of secondary osteoporosis in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and investigate the characteristics of RA to induce osteoporosis in the course of disease development.At the mean time,preliminary discuss the mechanism of secondary osteoporosis in RA,thus to provide animal model and experiment basis for the treatment and drug development of secondary osteoporosis in RA.
