Silicon carbide ceramics have many excellent properties,such as high strength,high hardness,high resistance to corrosion etc,is a promising candidate for a wide range of applications.Liquid phase sintering(LPS),by using oxides as the sintering additives,can promote the densification at low temperature.By means of controlled processes,nearly full densities,homogeneous and fine microstructures of SiC ceramics with high mechanical properties can be obtained.
