Auto-stereo display is becoming more popular in display technology research recently.Compared with 2-D display,the 3-D display technology has advantage in virtual reality,and it is well accepted by customers.Auto-stereo displays have been receiving a lot of attention as a next generation 3D display,because they are considered to be one of the most possible solutions for providing good quality 3D image without special glasses.Various types of parallax barrier or lenticular lenses are commonly used as an optical filter for separating the parallax images.However,most of auto-stereo displays suffer from serious deterioration of image quality because of the resolution reduction and Moiré effect.Even though the slanted structure is good for balancing the ratio of horizontal and vertical resolution and weakening the Moiré effect,But,there is still a problem of color accuracy caused by the widely used slanted parallax barrier or lenticular lens.The sub-pixel has been split in many different parts by the slanted structure and this cause a serious problem of edge aliasing,so the 3-D image looks rough,even have a sense of particles.
