The analysis of several anomalous tropical cyclones suggests that the Tohoku,Japan M9.0 temblor on 11 March seems to be correlated with a series of tropical storms or typhoons in the western Pacific. These climate events include the typhoon Sinlaku (No.0813),tropical storm Dante (No.0901),tropical storm Aere (No.ll01),super-powerful typhoon Songda (No.l102),typhoon Ma-on (No.l106),typhoon Talas (No.1112),tropical storm Noru (No.1113),typhoon Roke (No.1115) and typhoon Sonca (No.1116).In speculation, these 9 storm events and the Tohoku mega quake constitute a quake-typhoon chain. Its genesis is probably associated with anomalous ground or sea temperature.
