Nanozymes are nanomaterials with enzyme-like characteristics.They are advantageous over natural enzymes and conventional artificial enzymes in several aspects,such as high stability,large surface area for bioconjugation,and multi-functions.Therefore,they have attracted considerable attentions and have been used in bioanalysis and biomedicine.Our group focuses on the nanozyme research.Here we report our recent efforts on designing of high performance nanozymes and their biomedical applications.For instance,we have designed integrated nanozymes and explored their application for real time monitoring of neurochemicals in living brains(Fig.1).These results demonstrated that nanozymes would be next generation of artificial enzymes.
