Light is an essential environmental factor in growth and development of photosynthetic organisms, however under high light stress growth, productivity and viability of alga are severely affected.Numerous research have been explored concerning adaptive modification of chloroplast under transient light stress, known as state transition.On the contrary, research on long-term light stress adaption of alga chloroplast are still in its infancy.
