A 9-week feeding experiment was conducted to estimate the optimal dietary protein to energy (P/E) ratio for Cynoglossus semilaevis Gunther (initial average weight of 43.78 ± 0.18 g,mean ± S.E).Six practical test diets were formulated to contain three protein levels (45%,50% and 55%) at two lipid levels (12.0% and 16.0%) with P/E ratios ranging from 20.79 to 26.37 mg protein kJ-1.
