A method for measuring phase velocity of Lamb wave in laminates is proposed in this article.Phase velocities over a certain frequency band,which is contained in the frequency domain of the actuation signal,can be calculated.In non-destructive testing(NDT),Lamb wave is used as the guide wave propagating in laminates for damage locating.However,because of the dispersion of the Lamb wave,the form of wave signal may change during propagating in the laminate,which could lead to the difficulty and imprecision for time-of-fly(TOF)measurement.Therefore,some signal processing methods,such as Wavelet Transform and Cross-Correlation algorithm,have been introduced to determine the time lag.But the dispersion of Lamb wave is still a difficult problem for grope velocity measurement,and may reduce the accuracy of the damage locating.
