As a monolayer of sp2-bonded carbon atoms packed into a honeycomb crystal structure, graphene has a has a large aspect ratio and unique layered structure with nanoscale thickness, and thus it is easy to form a large number of parallel micro-capacitors at a low filler content, facilitating the preparation of dielectric elastorner composites with high dielectric constant.On the other hand, the dielectric loss can be effectively decreased by preventing the direct connection of graphene nanoplates (GNPs), which can be realized via the coating of functional groups (C-O-C, C-OH, and C=O) on GNPs through the chemical modification of natural graphite during preparation.
