　　A new Cd(Ⅱ)metal–organic coordination polymer,{[Cd2(bptc)(1,6-bih)(H2O)2]·H2O}n(1),(H4bptc =2,3,5,5-biphenyltetracarboxylic acid,1,6-bih = 1,6-bis(imidazol-1-yl)hexane,was assembled under hydrothermal condition by the reactions of Cd(Ⅱ)acetate with H4bptc and 1,6-bih.
