The mercenary principle of businessmen, public transport, fires and floods frequently occur. The disregard of the rulers’ housing problems and so on are the important reasons for the housing problems. The extreme expansion of the population of the Roman city is undoubtedly the most crucial factor. From this we can see that to make the city a beautiful home, we must correctly handle the coordinated development of population and urban society and effectively solve the housing problem. The study also shows that housing problems in urban areas are not the only phenomena in the era of industrialization.
