水的管理:苗期浇水及其控制是培育烤烟壮苗的重要措施。浇水要掌握小水勤浇,水量逐渐加大的原则。从“拉十字”到定苗是烟苗伸根阶段,浇水量应适当控制,两次浇水间隔时间宜长些,保持苗床干干湿湿,促进幼根发育。浇水可结合施肥、间苗进行,施肥后要冲洗烟苗。苗期施用农药防治病虫时,应暂停浇水,以免药液被水冲洗掉。
