5月的上海是一个艺术的圣殿,“上海之 春”国际音乐节好戏连台。假此春风,第三届“上海一台北音乐荟萃”活动也紧锣密鼓地开场了。从5月11日至13日的三天时间里,先后举行了两场室内乐音乐会、一场交响音乐会。其间举行的四场学术研讨会,议题广泛,内容涉及二战后美国、欧洲音乐发展状况;五十年来海峡两岸音乐创作;电脑作曲专题;中国加入WTO以后,艺术知识产权保护及两岸权益之推展;本届音乐荟萃作品之艺术特色等。与会者坦诚相待、畅所欲言,显示了炎黄子孙血脉相连的亲情和对中国传统文化所共同负有的历史使命感。参加者除了沪、台两地的音乐家外,还有应邀专程从北京赶来主持研讨会的吴祖强先生等。

The participants treated each other candidly and voluntarily, showing the affectionate connection between the descendants of the proletariat and the historical mission shared by the traditional Chinese culture. In addition to the musicians in Shanghai and Taiwan, participants also invited Mr. Wu Zuqiang, who was invited to make a special trip to Beijing to preside over the seminar.
