现代“科学美学”从本质上说是经验的而不是理性的。它从经验主义出发,将审美判断建立在日常经验的基础之上,拒绝对美的本质作纯哲学式的追问而走一条介于传统与现代的中间道路。正是在研究方法、审美价值、审美形态学、审美心理学中对传统美学所做的似是而非的改造,科学美学无法完成转换传统美学内在动力的任务。这使得科学美学只能是一种缺失了快感的实用艺术,丧失了美学作为人的情感家园的独特功能。
Modern “scientific aesthetics” is essentially experienced rather than rational. Starting from empiricism, it establishes aesthetic judgment on the basis of daily experience, refuses to question the nature of beauty purely as a philosophical question, and takes a middle way between tradition and modernity. It is the paradoxical transformation of the traditional aesthetics in the research methods, aesthetic values, aesthetic morphology and aesthetic psychology. The scientific aesthetics can not accomplish the task of transforming the intrinsic motivation of traditional aesthetics. This makes science aesthetics only a pragmatic art that lacks pleasure and loses the unique function of aesthetics as human emotional home.
