4月26日,中华全国总工会在北京召开了庆祝“五一”国际劳动节暨“当好主力军,建功‘十一五’,和谐奔小康”竞赛活动动员大会与庆祝“五一”国际劳动节劳动模范座谈会。中共中央政治局委员、全国人大常委会副委员长、中华全国总工会主席王兆国受党中央委托,在动员大会上向全国各族工人、农民、知识分子和其他社会阶层的劳动群众表示了节日的问候,并发表了重要讲话。中华全国总工会副主席、书记处第一书记孙春兰等领导同志出席了会议。
