高职院校公共英语教学在教材选用、师资力量、考核方式、人才培养目标等方面存在诸多问题。改革高职院校公共英语教学现状的对策有:转变办学理念,优化教材结构,提高师资力量,实行分层教学,突出专业特色和练习。 There are many problems in the selection of teaching materials, teacher resources, assessment methods, talents training objectives and so on in public English teaching in higher vocational colleges. The countermeasures to reform the current situation of public English teaching in higher vocational colleges include: changing the concept of running a school, optimizing the structure of teaching materials, improving teachers’ ability, implementing hierarchical teaching, and highlighting professional characteristics and exercises.
