巴林左旗位于赤峰市东北部,北与锡盟相接,西南与巴林右旗毗邻,东与阿旗相接,全旗总面积966万亩,绝大多数土地均为干旱草原或荒漠,森林资源主要以天然次生林为主,是一个以畜牧业为主的农牧业旗。由于受地理、历史等多方面因素的影响,全旗林业产业一直处于欠发展状态。为了掌握全旗林业产业发展的第一手资料,旗林业局组织骨干力量对全旗林业产业发展现状进行了一次详细调查,以下就全旗林业产业现状形成原因和今后发展方向进行分析。
