图书馆是每个高校都不可或缺的基础公共服务设施,其作为文献信息资源的整合和传播核心,在高校教育中承担着重要的职能。将高校图书馆面向社会开放则是其对社会公众的最大贡献。在完成自我发展和承担社会教育职能的需求下,高校图书馆面向社会开放也符合公众对知识传播、文献查询需求的期待。
Libraries are the essential public service facilities indispensable to every university. As the core of integration and dissemination of documentary information resources, libraries play an important role in higher education. The college library open to the community is its greatest contribution to the public. Under the requirement of fulfilling self-development and undertaking the function of social education, the opening of university libraries to the society is also in line with the public’s expectation of knowledge transmission and literature search.
