One of the characteristics of the Coxsachie virus is that it can cause morbidity and mortality of mice (suckling mice) within a few days after birth, but are generally not pathogenic to adult mice. Pappenheimer’s first found that adult mice infected with Coxsachie B-1 virus, although rarely fatal, but the pathological examination can often see inflammatory infiltration and necrosis of the pancreas. Several scholars have studied how to improve the sensitivity of adult mice to the virus and hope to understand the different age mice showed different sensitivities to the virus. Kilbourne and Boring et al. Successfully administered the testudin injections to increase the sensitivity of adult mice to the B-1 virus and found the virus to be valuable in its brain, muscle, and pancreas. The author has pointed out in the previous article that suckling mice are infected
