外语学习的效果除了涉及一些客观因素(如学习环境、自身的天赋、教师的水平等)外,还涉及学习者本身的情感因素。在教学中,情感因素起着或促进或阻碍的作用,文章分析了英语学习者的三个主要情感因素:动机,焦虑和自信及对英语学习的影响和效果,认为在教学中教师必须注重培养学生的积极情感,注重情感教学。通过不断提高和完善教学设计,管理和方法,创造一个有利于外语学习的情感环境,充分发挥情感教学的积极作用,才能更有效激发学生参与学习的积极性和兴趣,促进学生认知活动的健康发展,从而取得良好的教学效果。
