“有偿新闻”,是近几年来我国新闻界出现的一种前所未有的现象。其重要表现之一是出卖版面和播映时间。不管真假好坏,不管有无新闻价值、宣传价值,谁给钱就给谁发新闻、说好话;你钱给得多,我版面就给得大、播映时间就长。这样做的结果,破坏了新闻工作的真实性原则、党性原则和新闻价值 “Paid news” is an unprecedented phenomenon that has emerged in the press in China in recent years.
