本文简要介绍了国际上有关濒危语言的讨论,提出濒危语言是全球性的问题,论述了中国少数民族语言使用的情况,指出少数民族语言中部分弱势语言已经处在濒危状态,有的语言正在消亡或已经消亡,语言的消亡是人类的巨大损失。笔者认为,弱势语言的陆续消失是时代的总趋势,是语言学家们难以逆转的。在现阶段应更进一步重视濒危语言的调查研究,抓紧濒危语言资料的抢救和保存,并采取有效措施,延缓弱势语言向濒危状态的转化。
This article briefly introduces the international discussion on endangered languages and proposes that the endangered language is a global issue. It discusses the use of minority languages in China, points out that some disadvantaged languages in minority languages are already in danger of endangerment, and some languages are dying Or have died, the demise of language is a huge human loss. In my opinion, the gradual disappearance of weak languages is the general trend of the times, which is hard for linguists to reverse. At the present stage, more attention should be paid to the investigation and study of endangered languages, the grasping of the rescue and preservation of endangered language materials and effective measures to delay the transformation of the disadvantaged languages to the endangered state.
