Taking Lake Guo Zhenghu as the research object, the phytoplankton - silver carp, which plays an important role in the quality and quantity of its ecosystem, was used as a sub-system to study the interaction between them. After comparing the growth of silver carp and its full feeding after two months in summer, we found no difference in the first 20 days and the difference started to appear after 20 days. The interaction between the two models was modeled, and the result of the calculation was that the density of phytoplankton after being ingested by silver carp declined, while the silver carp did not receive sufficient feed, resulting in slow growth. Observing the nitrogen balance during this period, almost all nitrogen produced by phytoplankton is utilized by silver carps, but 78% of the nitrogen required for phytoplankton is in turn provided by silver carp. This shows that in the entire ecosystem of the lake area, this system of interactions is important in terms of quantity.
