Using domestic laser diodes, a continuous pumped Nd: YVO4 laser acousto-optic Q-switched was achieved. And a single longitudinal pre-laser Q-switched output. At smaller pump powers. The light-to-light conversion efficiency of 2.4% was obtained with a ramp efficiency of 12.5%, a pulse width of 60 ns and a laser-based transverse mode output. The experimental results were compared with LD pumped Nd: YAG lasers.
