5·12汶川大地震后高校青年志愿者积极行动,参与抗震救灾活动。这不仅弘扬了抗震救灾精神,发扬了爱国主义传统,彰显了以人为本的核心理念,还锻炼了高校青年的意志品质,有利于实现其自我成长和发展。然而,针对重大突发性自然灾害救助中高校青年志愿者服务还存在的缺乏专业性、自主性、社会支持以及持久性、连续性等问题,政府、高校和社会有关部门应当采取措施,建立灾害救助志愿服务的培训机制、激励机制、协作机制和长效机制。
After the May 12 earthquake, young volunteers in colleges and universities actively took actions to participate in earthquake relief activities. This not only carries forward the spirit of earthquake relief, develops the tradition of patriotism, demonstrates the core concept of putting people first, and also exercises the will-quality of young people in colleges and universities and helps them achieve their own growth and development. However, for the lack of professionalism, autonomy, social support and persistence and continuity in the service of youth volunteers in colleges and universities in the relief of major sudden natural disasters, governments, colleges and universities and relevant social departments should take measures to establish a disaster Training mechanism, incentive mechanism, collaboration mechanism and long-term mechanism to rescue volunteer service.
