The author analyzes its causes from the angle of neo-historicism criticism. Writing “The Call of the Wilderness” and “Snow Tiger” with an approximation of the story framework and similar character types, Jack London made two entirely different ideas and reflections on where heroes go from one to another. On the basis of “self-referential ”, the creation of paired works provides Jack London with a distinctive way to fully express the irreconcilable conflict in his inner world.
