基因多态性是指人群中出现的遗传变异,它可表现为高度重复序列拷贝数的改变。血小板膜糖蛋白(GPs)基因多态性与人类血小板抗原(HPA)相关。HPA多态性以频率较高的表型作为a型,其次为b型。HPA表型不同是由于膜糖蛋白多肽链内某一个氨基酸被取代的结果,不同表型的个体其相应的GP功能都是正常的,因此血小板特异性抗原也是正常血小板膜糖蛋白多态性的一种表现,目前已有十种常见抗原编码的血小板膜糖
