When Forbes magazine and its contributing writer, Hurun (CPA), compiled the No. 2 ranking of China’s richest 50, it learned that China today has many billionaires and many who are about to become billionaires. Of these, Rong Yiren and his family own nearly 1.9 billion U.S. dollars of assets while Liu Yongxing and three of his brothers own nearly 1 billion U.S. dollars. In addition, 28% of companies belong to the high tech and media communications industries.
