图书馆员数字化生存是指馆员在互联网环境中以数字化符号为中介从事的有意识、有目的的生存发展活动,是其拓展个人生存价值、实现个人生命发展的生存活动。图书馆员数字化生存为馆员提供了一种全新的生存发展途径,是对其现实生存的拓展和丰富,具有独特的特征和属性,表现为符号化的主体、数字化的媒介、交互性的过程、超现实的空间以及沉浸性的体验等。图书馆员数字化生存的意义和价值体现在:提升图书馆员的主观幸福感,推动图书馆员技术素养的培养,提高图书馆服务质量,打造图书馆信息文化。
