自建数据库是高校图书馆为了解决具体问题而着力打造的具有较强针对性的数据库,这一类数据库往往与学校的教育教学、办学特色有着密切联系,并起到了补充馆藏、突破瓶颈、彰显特色的作用。本次数据库建设为我校图书馆历史上首个自建数据库建设,力争通过搜集、组合资源实现对教师发表论文和免费外文图书两种资源的整合,并通过技术手段提供网络服务,实现图书馆服务的拓展。一、自建数据库的意义1.定义与类型自建数据库是指图书馆或相关机构为充实、完善电子馆
