Front traction caps are commonly used to treat Class III malocclusion following maxillary retraction, however, the maxillary forward rotation is a major side effect during traction. The purpose of this study was to use an improved front headgear device for patients with skeletal Class Ⅲ malocclusion to control the maxillary rotation upward and forward during traction.
