I. Introduction At present, all rare earth smelters in southern China produce monochloride rare earth products with monazite as their raw materials, with “specific release” of more than n × 10-6 (Curie / kg) exceeding the permissible standards 1 × 10 ~ (-7) Curie / kg), which hinders the sales and application of rare earth products. To solve this major issue, we will vigorously develop monazite minerals for the provinces in southern China, develop the rare earth industry and open up a new situation. Radiation problems in rare earth chloride products have long drawn great attention from foreign countries. According to reports, France’s Ronald Planck Company
