To control weeds and pests, live insects have been shipping internationally for many years. Air transport enables more insect species and insect stages to be utilized, thereby expanding natural enemy resources, however, there are still many problems with beneficiary packaging and transportation. Prior Issues Before deciding on the shipment, documents must be provided that demonstrate that the insects are environmentally friendly. Documentation should include field and indoor research data and taxonomic studies based on appropriate literature. What matters, in terms of shipping itself, is the permitted shipment and the viability of the organism. Permitting is also an import permit. Many countries and certain political regions within a country are involved in the importation of beneficial organisms
