In the long process of development, the black female novel presents a colorful scene. However, the concern about the living condition of the black female immigrants has always been the theme of many writers. By demonstrating multiple oppression such as race and gender suffered by black women in Britain, women writers try hard to show the difficulties that black women face. The theme of “Survival ” is deepened by the creative improvement of writers’ traditional growth novels.
