文学的后现代主义者喜欢采用模仿(parody)和拼贴(collage)手段表现作品主题。英国现代剧作家汤姆.史达帕的剧本也运用了大量的后现代主义技巧。他善于借用人们熟悉的经典剧让观众和读者重新审视与思考人类。他的作品《真实》在主题和结构两个方面都体现了他对后现代主义策略的运用。
Postmodernists in literature like to use parody and collage to express the theme of the work. Tom Strapat, the playwright of the British modern playwright, also uses a great deal of postmodernism. He is good at borrowing familiar classic dramas to re-examine audiences and readers. His work “True” embodies his use of postmodernist strategies in both the subject and the structure.
