Based on the images and names of the characters in early works of British novels and novels in the United Kingdom, this essay analyzes their development, changes and characteristics from the historical backgrounds and humanities of the two countries respectively. Then it compares and contrasts the changes of the artistic function of the characters’ names in the novels of both countries. Through these analyzes, comparison and comparison, we hope that both parties will continue to strengthen their mutual understanding so as to achieve common development.
