我是对外经济贸易大学退休的英语教师。1990年我赴美国探亲,有机会在纽约快速教学法培训中心学习了洛扎诺夫教学法。该中心主任是洛扎诺夫的学生,在她亲自指导下,我对这个教学法产生了浓厚的兴趣。乔治·洛扎诺夫是保加利亚著名的科学家,他用毕生精力研究人的大脑。60年代,他首创了暗示教学法。这是一种开发人脑潜在功能的方法,在许多国家被广泛运用在语言教学、军事训练、体育训练以及宇航员训练上,被公认是提高人类素质、快速培养人才的好方法。1991年5月我回国后,孙维炎校长亲自组织了一个洛扎诺夫教学法课题小组。该小组由本校语言文学研究所的主要负责人,几位英语教师、心理学教师和心理医生等组成。学校还拨给了研究经费。从1991年暑假开始,我们先后用这个方法教了一个儿童英语学习班,一个本科生第二外语(英语)学习班和两个司局长英语短训班。通过实践,我体会到这个教学法确实很有特色,是一个值得推荐的好方法。现将我的体会简单介绍如下。
I am a retired English teacher at the University of International Business and Economics. When I went to the United States in 1990 to visit relatives, I had the opportunity to learn Lozanov’s pedagogy at the New York Rapid Teaching Methodology Training Center. The director of the center is a student of Lozanov, and I personally have a strong interest in this pedagogy. George Lozhanov, a Bulgarian scientist, spent his entire life studying the human brain. In the 60s, he pioneered the implicit teaching method. It is a way of developing the potential functions of the human brain and widely used in many countries for language teaching, military training, sports training and astronaut training, and is widely recognized as a great way to improve human qualities and to train people quickly. After I returned to China in May 1991, Principal Sun Weiyan personally organized a Task Group on Teaching Method of Lozanov. The group consists of the school language and Literature Institute of the main responsible person, several English teachers, psychology teachers and psychologists and other components. The school also allocated research funding. From the beginning of the summer of 1991, we have used this method to teach a children’s English class, a second-language undergraduate (English) class and two short-term English classes. Through practice, I realized that this pedagogy is indeed very distinctive, is a good way to recommend. Now my experience is briefly described below.
